I have internet again! You will finally start seeing updates again!
Julia Roberts has returned to work with Italian fashion designer Giorgio Armani to raise money for the fight against AIDS in Africa, designing a T-shirt to be sold under the “Red” label.
The Academy Award-winning actress has drawn the symbolic tree of life with the words “revolution.evolution.devotion” arching over its foliage.
The words are behind the acronym for “Red,” the name of a product-branding alliance to raise money for the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.
Under the scheme — the brain-child of U2 rock star Bono and Bobby Shriver, the nephew of former U.S. President John F. Kennedy — manufacturers channel a portion of the profits from “Red”-branded goods to the fund.
Money raised from events and product sales tied to the label have raised more than $110 million since it began in 2006, according to a statement from Giorgio Armani.
The T-shirt designed by Roberts will go on sale in September both online and at Emporio Armani stores worldwide, a spokeswoman for the fashion designer said.
Available for men and women, the T-shirt will also have her signature inside.
It is the second time that Roberts has worked with Armani for the “Red” label. The first time saw her use the same idea of the tree for a leather bracelet.
Armani also sells clothing, accessories, eyewear, watches, fragrances and jewellery under the “Red” label, offering 40 percent of the gross profit margin on sales to the fund.

I have had no internet access for almost 2 months. I still don’t have everything set-up at my new place. As soon as I am settled this website will be back with updates and more. Keep checking back.

Julia appeared on Oprah today. I set my TiVo so a video will be up shortly (with the video archive) and captures.
Oscar®-winning actress Julia Roberts takes her movie roles to heart, but she takes one offscreen role much more seriously—her role as a global citizen. Julia says she’s always been environmentally conscious but became “more focused” after having three children. “You realize we do have a responsibility of our impact in every way to our kids, the way we talk to them and the example that we offer them and the things to teach them,” she says. “There’s such a wealth of knowledge now that we can educate ourselves with, and it’s our responsibility.”
One person who helped educate Julia is friend and green guru Sophie Uliano, author of Gorgeously Green. Everyone can become environmentally conscious just by taking small steps, Sophie says. “For me, green isn’t extreme,” she says. “There’s shades of green. … You pick your shade.”
Sophie says you can take your first step in the grocery store by purchasing organic foods. “Organic means that it’s grown without the use of herbicides, pesticides. It’s not genetically modified; it’s not irradiated,” Sophie says. “Organic farming protects the planet, so it’s a win-win. It’s healthier for us, and it’s healthier for the planet.”

New films starring Hollywood sirens Penelope Cruz and Julia Roberts premiered at the 58th Berlin Film Festival Sunday, bringing celebrity mega-wattage to tragic personal stories.
Cruz plays a literature student who falls for her womanising professor (Ben Kingsley) before an illness strikes in “Elegy”, an adaptation of a Philip Roth novel by Spanish filmmaker Isabel Coixet.
The picture, in the running for the Berlinale’s Golden Bear top prize, deals with the elusive nature of physical beauty and includes several nude scenes with Cruz, who routinely ranks among the world’s most stunning women.
But she brushed away reporters’ questions about her appearance, saying she had never been typecast as a pretty face or seen her sex appeal diminish her opportunities as an actress.
“I’ve had plenty of offers (for roles) since I was 17,” Cruz said. “When people ask that I ask, ‘a victim of what?’”

Julia Roberts will star in the film adaptation of Margot Berwin’s upcoming novel “Hothouse Flowers.”
The actress also will produce the feature for Sony’s Columbia Pictures.
Roberts will play a recently divorced woman who is dissatisfied with her job at a Manhattan ad agency and embarks on an adventure.
The studio bought the rights to the book by Nerve.com writer Berwin. The project, however, has no writer or script because of the almost 3-month-old writers strike.
Roberts stars in “Charlie Wilson’s War” and recently wrapped the indie family drama “Fireflies in the Garden.” Her next project is Tony Gilroy’s thriller “Duplicity.”
